Looks like a gently used 2016 Mustang to me.
Sometimes people discover that they don’t actually like their new car and it finds its way back onto a dealer lot quickly. My dad’s 2013 BRZ was purchased new in January of 2014, was back on a dealer lot in February, and my dad purchased it in May with 800 mi on it (which gave him a nice discount over new along with the CPO warranty which is better than the new warranty). Our theory is that the 1st owner attempted to drive it in a snow storm on the eco tires and scared the shit out of themselves.

The white seats staining?
Otherwise, keep an eye on the fine print in the purchase agreement.

What’s wrong with it? It depreciated—it’s used and it’s a common car.
Are you saying asking price should be higher based on other cars in Canada?

Standard Mustang depreciation. You could probably get a new 2016 for $5-6k Off right now, so a used one has to undercut that even more.

It’s $10k below avg asking price for EB Mustang up here. I know it deprecated, but that much for that low kms does not seem right.

I checked out a 2014 Chevy SS about 2 months ago and there was a pocket knife left carelessly in the back seat, and a white stain (salesman actually tasted it and said it was chocolate! no thanks!) on the other back seat.
Watch for knives and sperm.

Tons of people trade in almost-new cars, usually because they don’t find it comfortable, it won’t do what they need it to do (hauling/snow traction/room for kids etc), or just plain buyer’s remorse.
So what you’ve got here is a dealership trying to motivate someone to buy their slightly used car instead of paying slightly more for a brand new one, plus the dealer’s headache of trying to unload a 300hp RWD used car in Ontario in January.

Used base model EB? Don’t know how prices differ up north but that seems reasonable. Those must be aftermarket seat covers or something, don’t think you can get white cloth from the factory.

It does say exclusive unit in the ad, so it could have been owned by Ford. Could be a similar situation to this.

Deprecation on these Mustangs is not fun. :(
Using my car as an example, I have a 2015 EcoBoost Premium loaded up (Manual, Recaro Seats, Premier Touch, Shaker Sound System, Performance Pack) with only 15k mi, and the best private offer I have received has been $19k and the best dealer trade-in has been $15k. For a car that was $35k new if I recall correctly.
I could definitely see a base model EcoBoost losing $10k as well even with that low of mileage.

Unfortunately, you can get white cloth seats. They’re actually called ceramic or dark ceramic.

No idea, actually. I just don’t like the seats honestly. Light colored seats appear filthy or unclean much more easily than darker ones. But I’m sure there’re some buyers that opted for them or prefer them to dark colors.

My guess is it was a dealer executive car, so he gets a different one every few months... If not for the ceramic interior, I’d say go for it.

Maybe I’ve had kids for too long. I just keep imagining one trip in that car with kids turning into hours spent trying to steam clean stains out of the seats.
